The Mystic Tan
Innovation MT5000 model pictured here consists of a
really cool looking plastic shell with spray nozzles which mist or "fog" the customer with a
DHA chemical which interacts with your dead skin layer to turn
it brown. The nozzle has a positive charge, similar to
a powder coating spray paint gun, so when the formula is shot from
the spray nozzle it carries a positive charge and seeks a
"ground" through your body
, which makes the "mist" attract to
every inch of your exposed skin and evenly distributing the
"chemical" over your body except where you applied "barrier

The Mystic Tan technology is quite effective in that it ensures
a 100% coverage of the FDA approved DHA chemical which interacts
with your dead skin layer to turn it brown. The
disadvantage of this system is the process itself is very cold
and almost "shocking" to your body when the blast of mist is
released in the booth and attracts to your body and they have
addressed this problem with a new HD features which completely
dries your body before you exit the booth. Other concerns
like clogging nozzles and the mess inside has been eliminated with a water wash down system
which cleans up after each customer has finished the session.

The Magic Tan MT3000 model pictured here
consists of a
plastic shell with spray nozzles which mist or "fog" the customer with a
DHA chemical which interacts with your dead skin layer to turn
it brown. This Magic Tan model features a 54 second sunless
tan using 36 nozzles, 3 levels of tanning, and a self-cleaning
wash down feature. The MT3500 looks very similar but with
important upgrades, so be sure which model you are buying

The Magic Tan MT3500 spray tan
booth
pictured here is the next generation and improved model over the
MT3000 model. This Magic Tan model features a 20
second spray time using 27 nozzles, 3 levels of tanning, and a
self-cleaning wash down feature. This unit also has
optional features which include the MP3 voice prompt which tells
the user when to turn and LCD diagnostics which allows an
engineer to troubleshoot the booth remote. Some
used models also has the optional hand-held air brush attachment
for touch up spraying.

The UV free spray tanning booth like the Hollywood Tans model
powered my
Mystic Tan pictured here consists of a
stainless-steel shell with spray nozzles which mist or "fog" the customer with a
DHA chemical which interacts with your dead skin layer to turn
it brown. Be careful with the HT booths because not all of
the units have the Mystic Tan "retro-fit". I will not
recommend buying or selling any HT spray tan booth without this
Mystic Tan feature because the older style booths without this
refit will not work properly.

The utilities needed for this and all other automatic spray tan booths are the same: 110 volt power, cold water supply for wash down, and drain similar to a washer/dryer hook up. Usually the contractors who construct your spray tan room install the same type of plumbing as they would for a laundry room minus the 220v power. You will need a room that is about 8 ft x 10 ft for proper operation.
